One Of Our Newest American Citizens...

Today, Mom braved the heat with her friend, Christina, to attend Christina's swearing in ceremony where Christina would become one of our newest American citizens. Here are a few pictures from the event. Enjoy.

A Tour Of Philly...

Image
Mom and I decided to take a tour of some of the local historical attractions that Philadelphia has to offer. We went to the US Mint, stopped to look at the lobby of the Jewish Historical Museum, stopped at Independence Hall and spent some time at the Visitor's Center. We even took the time to take a carriage ride and learned a few things about Philadelphia that even we, as jaded residents of the city, didn't already know. There were two highlights during our outing, one was the carriage ride. Our horse, Silver, knew the route like the back of his hoof and made the twists and turns automatically. Silver was not a horse to be swayed by such trivial matters as people walking across his path or red lights and on-coming traffic. Silver knew where he wanted to go and you took your life into your own hands, if you were foolish or daring enough to get in his way. The second highlight was actually in the Gallery. We had to pass through the Gallery to get to the parking garage and stoppe...

Tuna-Day...

Image
Every Thursday, the kitties get a small can of tuna as a treat. Mom was concerned about kitty cooties, so, I had to give the kitties their own special tuna-day plate. We picked out a noticeably garish plate to ensure that no one would mistake it for a people plate. Toto is on the left, Otto in the middle and Daisy on the right. Amazingly, no one grumbles at having to share a plate.

Valley Forge...

Mom decided to take Tony and her grandchildren out to Valley Forge. On the whole, I'm told that the munchkins had a good time, but, their father, Tony, seemed to be in a hurry to not be there. Whether or not Tony or the grandchildren actually had a good time, Mom, at least did. Her only complaint was that Tony didn't want to slow down and take the time to see what was to be seen.
