Halloween 2016...
For the third year in a row, Mom and I decided to be one of the handful on neighbors on our block to offer candy on Halloween. We got four big bags of candy and I packaged all of the candy into small clear bags. We ended up with three grocery bags full of little candy packages. This year, Halloween happened to fall on a school day. Mom didn't really want to be outside, so, I, volunteered to hand out candy. Most people avoided our block like the plague, but, there were just enough adventurous souls passing through to allow us to give away all of our candy during the course of two hours. Fortunately, I ended up giving out all of the candy with no child left out. There were no stand-out costumes this year. Overall, it was a good day.
