Rodriguez Family Events

Another birthday came and went. Mom made some food and a carrot birthday cake. Tony and Amanda stopped by for a bit. Amanda decorated the cake. We have here the usual suspects: food, birthday cake and a picture of me attempting to blow out the candles. I didn't actually succeed. I guess I've reached that stage in my life where one candle is enough. I scored some cash and gift cards. Here you can see my Tales of Vesparia t-shirt. I'm not really a fan of the series, but, the selection of anime-themed t-shirts for people of my size is somewhat limited.

I've had a beard for many years and recently, I decided to make a change and shave the beard off... It was an epic task that took about an hour to complete. The hard part is trying to keep razor burn to a minimum. With the beard off, I've noticed that I sweat more without the beard than with. Of course, now there is regular maintenance to keep the beard off. This is me in my inner sanctum with a handful of my CDs and some of my anime piled up behind me.
