Daisy Is Wounded...
Curiosity and kitties is not a good combination. Daisy got her head caught in a closing door and came away with a nasty scrape. After a trip to the vet for a shave and a round of antibiotics, Daisy can look forward to more antibiotics for the next week or so. In addition, the vet found that Daisy has an ear infection -- the vet speculated that it was possibly a yeast infection. I'm not sure how that came about, but, the vet also prescribed ear drops which means Daisy can look forward to ear drops for the next three weeks. As if that weren't bad enough, Daisy, who doesn't like being the center of attention, is now the most popular kitty in the house. With Daisy's head shaved and reeking of strange ointments and ear drops, the two boys -- Otto and Toto -- can't seem to get enough of the smell of Daisy.
