Halloween 2015...

For the second year in a row, Mom and I decided to be one of the handful on neighbors on our block to offer candy on Halloween. We got four big bags of candy and Mom packaged all of the candy into small clear bags. We ended up with two grocery bags full of little candy packages. This year, Halloween happened to fall on a weekend. Mom didn't really want to be outside, so, Amanda, volunteered to hand out candy. But, after a while, Amanda got tired of the task at hand, so, I had to take over.  Most people avoided our block like the plague, but, there were just enough adventurous souls passing through to allow us to give away all of our candy during the course of three hours. Fortunately, I ended up giving out all of the candy with no child left out.

Most of the costumed kids were reasonable store-bought items, a handful of sub-par low-budget zombies came by, but, the stand-out costume this year was among a group of young people were one individual came by dressed as a mommy wolf--complete with wolf hands, face and feet and an old-fashioned house dress and matching cap. Overall, it was a good day. By the way, the image shown is from the cover art for the Tweeny Witches DVD.
