Christmas 2013 and New Year's 2014...

In the aftermath of the return of the mushroom people (inside joke), the Christmas holiday was fairly understated. There was food and the exchanging of gifts, but, since I stayed up all of Christmas Eve day and well into the early hours of Christmas Day making sure that there was no evidence of the mushroom people or the aftermath of battle, I ready for a nap by the time the first family members began to show up. So, I ended up sleeping through most of the afternoon. The star of the day's feast was a 20-pound pork roast. After the feast, there was hardly anything left for the next day, so, the Christmas feast was a success.

As usual, the three kitties decided to ride out the New Year's Eve fireworks and celebratory weapons fire upstairs. But, this year all three kitties elected to sit on my bed rather than the hallway. The two guys are in the front and Daisy is in the back with her back facing the camera.
