The Kitties Have A Bad Night...

Daisy, Toto and Otto had a bad night. The problem started when an evil plastic bag got a hold of one of Otto's feet. Otto decided to run away from the evil bag and discovered, much his dismay, that the evil bag began to follow him. Otto ran faster and the evil bag kept coming. Meanwhile, Toto, sensing that his brother was being ruthlessly attacked by an evil plastic bag, did what any self-respecting kitty would do --  he left his brother to suffer whatever horrible fate that the evil plastic bag had in store for his brother. Toto hid himself as far away from his brother and the troublesome bag as he could get.

Not to be outdone, Daisy ran upstairs and crashed into Mom's bedroom door. As soon as Mom opened the door, Daisy ran inside and immediately searched for a suitable hiding place. Daisy felt too exposed under the bed, so, she ran around the room looking for a hiding spot. Eventually, Daisy had no choice but to hide under the bed as there were no other suitable hiding places to be found.

Mom had no idea what sort of evil diabolical fiend could be threatening Daisy, so, Mom called me in to investigate. My first thought was that the boys had caught a mouse, but, when I got downstairs, there were no boys to be seen anywhere. I found Otto under the sofa with the evil plastic bag still clinging to his foot. I got his foot untangled and disposed of the bag. Otto was still very concerned, but, managed to calm down after a while.

I searched the house twice before finding Toto in the very back of the house, in the laundry room, hiding behind a pile of towels on top of the dryer. Toto wasn't too thrilled to be removed from his hiding place. But, I figured that Otto would feel better if he could be near his brother (even though his brother abandoned him in his time of need).

Eventually, Mom and I managed to get Daisy out from under Mom's bed and I carried Daisy downstairs, so she could hang out with the guys and calm down. Daisy tip-toed around looking for the evil menace that she suspected might be lurking around the sofa. The guys paced back and forth, still very concerned about the evil menace. Daisy and the guys were so shaken and dismayed by the experience that they decided to huddle together in the upstairs hallway for the night.
